BOB DYLAN Bob Dylan is one of the world’s most popular and acclaimed songwriters, musicians and performers, having sold more than 110 million albums and performed literally thousands of shows around the world in a career spanning five decades. Over the last forty-six years he has released forty-four albums and written over five hundred songs including Blowin’ in the Wind, The Times They Are A-Changin, Like a Rolling Stone, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door and Make You Feel My Love. His songs have been covered more than three thousand times by artists ranging from Duke Ellington to the Rolling Stones, from Bob Marley to Rod Stewart.ent album, Modern Times – lauded by critics around the world, and selling more than 2.5 million copies to date, entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at number one, as well as débuting within the Top Five in 21 other countries. In 2001, he received a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for best song from a motion picture for Things Have Changed from the movie Wonder Boys. Dylan’s Chronicles – Volume I, his memoirs released in October, 2004, was a world-wide best seller, spending 19 weeks on The New York Times Bestseller List. In April 2008 he was awarded a special Pulitzer Prize for “his profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power”. A collection of Bob Dylan's drawings and sketches, created while on a tour of America, Europe and Asia between 1989 and 1992, were published in the book 'Drawn Blank' in 1994. These drawings were re-worked and first shown at a museum exhibition in Germany in autumn 2007, and at Halcyon Gallery, London in 2008. To coincide with this major exhibition the first ever publication of his signed limited edition graphics are premiered at selected galleries across the UK on 14th June 2008.
