GrooveRecordings presents: Karissa's first debut album tittled "Tanah Air" 2009.
Born in Jakarta on February 8th 1978. A mother of two, who likes to paint, write and create songs as her contribution to lives and arts that always been her greatest passion. With 14 years experience as a fashion model, she has persuade her self to spread her wings into another world of entertainment...the music industry. Always interested in people's soundtracks of life, inspirational moments, provoking books and open minded people. Having collaborated in several independent electronic music projects in the past (Electronic Groove, DJ Sumantri, DJ Bolivia from Vapour Recordings Australia (vinyl)) made her substance worthy on what she does now on her first debut album project. Hopefully, unlike other female solo singer she offered something new to the table by bringing you new sound and music that comes from the heart and mind.
